Jaktorów Municipality, located in the Masovian Voivodeship within Grodzisk County, has its administrative seat in the town of Jaktorów. Historically, between 1975 and 1998, it was part of the Skierniewice Voivodeship. The municipality borders Żyrardów and other neighboring municipalities such as Radziejowice, Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Baranów, and Wiskitki, making it strategically situated in the western part of the voivodeship. According to population data, it was home to 9,885 residents in 2004, and by 2011 this number had grown to 10,939.
