Jaroszowicka Mountain is an interesting peak located in Lesser Poland, on the right bank of the Skawa River, within the boundaries of the villages of Jaroszowice and Klecza Górna. Its height ranges from 541 m to 544 m, depending on the source, and the mountain itself, together with Wierzchowina, forms an isolated mountain massif separated from the Beskid Mały range by the gorge of the Skawa River. It is distinguished by four summits, with a maximum elevation reaching up to 250 m above the river level. The region is characterized by a uniform forest complex, primarily fir and spruce, which attracts nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. On the western foothills of Jaroszowicka Mountain lie the Jaroszowickie Rocks, a popular spot for bouldering. The mountain massif is surrounded by beautiful landscapes, and after the completion of the dam in Świnna Poręba and the creation of Lake Mucharskie, its isolation from the Beskid Mały range has become even more pronounced. Although the classification of Jaroszowicka Mountain into a specific mesoregion is debatable, some sources classify it as part of the Beskid Mały, which may pique the interest of tourists and researchers. Due to its natural beauty and rich flora and fauna, the region has the potential to develop ecotourism and is becoming a destination for those seeking peace and quiet in a mountainous setting.
