Jasieniec is a rural municipality located in the Masovian Voivodeship, within the Grójec County, with its administrative seat in the village of Jasieniec (formerly known as Gośniewice). Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality belonged to the Radom Voivodeship. It is home to 5,354 people (as of 2022), which marks a slight decrease compared to 2002, when the population was 5,402. The municipality covers an area of 107.83 km², of which 80% is agricultural land and 15% is forested, making it an important agricultural region. Jasieniec features a rich structure of local administrative units (sołectwas), including villages such as Alfonsowo, Boglewice, Bronisławów, and Wola Boglewska. Neighboring municipalities include Belsk Duży, Grójec, and Warka.
