Grójec County, located in the Masovian Voivodeship, was established in 1999 as a result of the administrative reform and has its seat in the town of Grójec. The county includes urban-rural municipalities such as Grójec, Mogielnica, Nowe Miasto nad Pilicą, and Warka, as well as rural municipalities, including Belsk Duży, Błędów, Chynów, Goszczyn, Jasieniec, and Pniewy. Between 1999 and 2002, the county also included the municipality of Tarczyn, which was later incorporated into Piaseczno County. The county borders several other counties, including Białobrzegi, Garwolin, and Żyrardów. In 2020, the population was 98,173.
