Jedlnia-Letnisko, an urban-rural municipality in the Masovian Voivodeship, is located in the Radom County. As of January 1, 2022, it gained city status, having previously been known as the Gmina Gzowice until 1954. The municipality covers an area of approximately 65.57 km² and, according to data from April 30, 2020, is inhabited by 12,899 people. Demographically, at the end of 2011, the population was 12,216, with slightly more women than men. The municipality includes numerous villages (sołectwa), such as Aleksandrów, Cudnów, Gzowice, and Jedlnia-Letnisko itself. The municipality has a rich history, with its key figures including mayors such as Zygmunt Malarczyk, Dariusz Rzeczkowski, and the current mayor, Piotr Leśnowolski. Interestingly, between 1975 and 1998, Jedlnia-Letnisko was part of the Radom Voivodeship. The municipality is bordered by other municipalities, such as Gózd and Pionki.
