Jędrzejów is an urban-rural municipality located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, within Jędrzejów County, with its administrative seat in the town of Jędrzejów, which is rich in history and interesting cultural aspects. Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality was part of the Kielce Voivodeship. At the end of 2010, Jędrzejów had a population of 28,943 people, and the municipality covered an area of 226.62 km², of which the town itself occupied 11.37 km². For a long time, particularly in 2007, 69% of the municipality's area was agricultural land, and 22% was forested, highlighting the agrarian character of this part of Poland.
Jędrzejów has a long history, traces of which can be found in its architecture.
