The Jeziora Wielkie Commune is a rural administrative district located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, within the Mogilno County. Its administrative seat is the village of Jeziora Wielkie, and between 1975 and 1998, it was part of the Bydgoszcz Voivodeship. According to data from June 30, 2004, the commune had a population of 5,033. The total area of the commune is 123.96 km², with agricultural land accounting for 64% of the area and forest land covering 21%. Jeziora Wielkie Commune makes up 18.34% of the total area of Mogilno County. The commune is home to valuable architectural monuments, including the wooden Church of St. Anne in Kościeszki, dating back to 1760, and the Church of St. Michael the Archangel from 1786 in Siedlimowo. Both buildings are listed in the register of historical monuments, highlighting their historical significance and the cultural value of the region. The commune consists of numerous village administrative units, such as Berlinek, Budy, Dobsko, Gaj, and Wola Kożuszkowa, as well as smaller settlements like Babki, Gopło, and Włostowo.
