Jutrosin

Jutrosin is an urban-rural municipality located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, within Rawicz County, with the town of Jutrosin serving as its administrative seat. Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality was part of the Leszno Voivodeship. According to data from June 30, 2014, the municipality had 7,139 inhabitants, and by the end of 2017, this number had increased to 7,161. Covering an area of 114.93 km², the municipality is characterized by 78% agricultural land and 15% forested areas, making it a significant hub of agricultural activity in the region. Jutrosin encompasses numerous villages and sołectwas (administrative rural subdivisions), such as Bartoszewice, Bielawy, Grąbkowo, and Zaborowo, as well as smaller settlements like Dębina and Zygmuntowo. The area is predominantly rural, which shapes the municipality’s character and influences its social and cultural life. Jutrosin is surrounded by other municipalities, including Cieszków, Kobylin, and Miejska Górka, fostering interregional cooperation.
