Teatr Kamienica in Warsaw, founded by Emiliani Kamiński and Justyna Sieńczyłło in 2009, is located in a historic tenement building at 93 "Solidarności" Avenue, constructed in 1910 in the Art Nouveau style. The building retained its intact facade after World War II, although the lower floors were rebuilt with certain limitations. The theater features three stages: Orla, Parter, and Piwnica Warsza, as well as restaurant halls. The history of the theater dates back to the communist era in Poland, when Kamiński began dreaming of having his own stage, a vision realized after five years of preparations. The tenement has a rich history; before the war, it was owned by a Jewish merchant, and during the ghetto period, it served as an official building that underwent numerous changes in function and status. The theater stages performances for both adults and children, and its activities are not limited to art alone; it supports various charitable initiatives, including programs for children from care centers and for people with disabilities. Teatr Kamienica also organizes cultural and business events, and its interior, featuring a model of Warsaw from 1939 and a historic tram, evokes the atmosphere of the interwar capital. The theater has received numerous awards for its charitable and artistic activities and is involved in educational projects for children aimed at spreading cultural awareness. It collaborates with renowned theater actors, further enhancing its reputation on the Polish theater scene.
