The Kazimiera Iłłakowiczówna Apartment-Studio is a museum dedicated to the poet, located in her former apartment in the Jeżyce district of Poznań, where she lived from 1948 until her death. The museum was opened on February 16, 1984, the anniversary of her passing, and preserves the original arrangement of furniture in the rooms. The museum's exhibition is divided into two parts: the first contains testimonies, awards, honors, photocopies of documents, letters, and personal items of the poet, including the first edition of her work *Ikarowe loty* (Icarus' Flights). The second part is a room with original furnishings, including furniture, paintings, and books, which showcase Iłłakowiczówna's daily life. The museum is under the management of the Raczyński Library.
In February 2014, celebrations were held to mark the 30th anniversary of the institution, during which a film about the poet's life was screened, and theatrical performances and exhibitions related to her work took place. An interesting fact is that for some time, Kazimiera Iłłakowiczówna lived with the Żynda family, including Professor Stefan Żynda. In 1981, her apartment hosted the ceremony where she was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Adam Mickiewicz University, which was unusual as such events typically take place in large university halls. Due to the size of the rooms and the poet's health condition, only two people attended the ceremony. Each year, the museum organizes events related to the presentation of the Kazimiera Iłłakowiczówna Award, continuing her cultural legacy.
