Kletno Earth Museum

The Kletno Earth Museum, located in the picturesque village of Kletno in the Stronie Śląskie municipality of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, is a private institution founded by the passionate collector Arnold Miziołek. The museum serves as a unique space showcasing treasures from around the world, as well as local minerals and fossils from the surrounding mountains, such as the Śnieżnik Massif, the Bialskie Mountains, and the Golden Mountains. Among its collections, visitors can find dinosaur footprints from the Holy Cross Mountains and Permian reptile fossils from the Nowa Ruda region, along with fascinating forms of flora and fauna dating back 250 million years. A notable highlight includes four fossilized dinosaur nests with eggs, which captivate both children and adults. A recent addition to the museum is the Jurassic Park, where the youngest visitors can see accurately proportioned dinosaur models and a fossilized Permian forest, making this place not only a local attraction but also an educational hub for families.
