Gmina Klonowa, located in the Łódź Voivodeship within Sieradz County, is an agricultural municipality with its administrative seat in the village of Klonowa. The history of the municipality dates back to before 1975, when it belonged to the former Sieradz Voivodeship. Currently, the municipality covers an area of 95.37 km², predominantly agricultural land (63%), with a significant portion also occupied by forests (32%). It is home to approximately 2,891 residents (as of December 31, 2017), indicating a slight population decline compared to 2004.
