Kozubowski Landscape Park

Kozubowski Landscape Park is a picturesque area located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, covering an area of 61.696 km² with a buffer zone of 65.92 km². The park includes parts of the municipalities of Michałów, Pińczów, and Złota, while its buffer zone additionally extends to the municipalities of Czarnocin and Działoszyce. It stands out not only for its rich nature but also for its valuable historical sites. Within the park, visitors can explore the fortified settlement in Stradów and a skeletal cemetery on Sobótka Hill, testifying to its long history of human settlement. The park protects numerous plant species, including rarities such as the spring adonis, golden flax, white helleborine, lady's slipper orchid, and the Hungarian vetchling, which has its only site in Poland in the Polana Polichno clearing. Notable fauna species include the smooth snake and the stag beetle. Kozubowski Landscape Park features interesting terrain formations, including loess hills, river valleys, and ravines, making it an attractive destination for tourism. Within the park, there are also two nature reserves: Polana Polichno and Wroni Dół, which further enrich the park's diverse landscape.
