The municipality of Krotoszyce, located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship within the Legnica County, is an area with a rich geographical and historical background. Krotoszyce serves as the administrative seat of the municipality, which until 1998 belonged to the Legnica Voivodeship. In 2016, the municipality had a population of 3,259, which increased to 3,322 by 2020. The municipality comprises several village administrative units, such as Babin-Kościelec, Dunino, Krotoszyce, and Wilczyce, which contribute to its diverse cultural landscape.
