Książ Wielkopolski

Książ Wielkopolski is an urban-rural municipality located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, within Śrem County, with the town of Książ Wielkopolski serving as its administrative seat. The history of the municipality dates back to the pre-partition era, and its development gained significance after World War II. The municipality covers an area of 147.87 km², of which 67% is agricultural land and 23% is forested, supporting local agriculture and ecological activities. According to demographic data, as of March 2011, the municipality had a population of 8,521 residents. The area is home to numerous architectural monuments, including 19th-century Neoclassical buildings and churches that reflect the region's rich history.
