Gmina Kulesze Kościelne, located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship within the Wysokie Mazowieckie County, has a predominantly agricultural character, which is reflected in its demographic and economic structure. The municipal seat is situated in Kulesze Kościelne, and the municipality comprises 32 rural settlements, each of which holds the status of a sołectwo (village administrative unit). The area is known for its extensive agricultural land, which covers 67% of its total area, with arable land being the dominant type. Farming in the municipality focuses mainly on grain crops such as rye, wheat, and oats, as well as animal husbandry, particularly cattle, pigs, and poultry.
