Lidzbark Warmiński is a rural municipality in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, located in the Lidzbark County. Its seat is the town of Lidzbark Warmiński, known for its rich history and architecture. From 1975 to 1998, the municipality belonged to the Olsztyn Voivodeship. In 2010, the municipality had a population of 7,038, and according to data from December 2019, the number decreased to 6,692. The municipality covers an area of 371.01 km², of which 56% is agricultural land and 28% is forest land. Lidzbark Warmiński is rich in villages, including Babiak, Koniewo, and Redy, as well as non-village settlements such as Budniki, Jagodów, and Stabunity. The municipality borders many others, including Bartoszyce, Lubomino, and Jeziorany, which fosters regional cooperation.
