Lidzbark is an urban-rural municipality located in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in Działdowo County. The seat of the municipality is the town of Lidzbark, and in 2023, the population of the municipality was 13,301, which represents a decrease compared to 2004, when the number of inhabitants was 14,542. The municipality covers an area of 255.67 km², of which 44% is agricultural land and 46% is forest land, indicating a significant share of green areas. Lidzbark has a rich architectural and historical heritage, with numerous monuments from various eras. Among the most important sites are the 14th-century parish church of St. Adalbert and the 19th-century manor and farm complex in Chełsty.
