Górzno Deanery

The Górzno Deanery is one of the 24 deaneries in the Diocese of Toruń, and its history dates back to before 1927, when it was part of the Diocese of Chełmno. After the deanery was dissolved in 1927, it was reestablished on December 2, 2001, when the Bishop of Toruń, Andrzej Suski, reorganized the diocesan structures. The Górzno Deanery holds both historical and cultural significance, built upon the foundations of the region's rich Catholic tradition. Within the deanery, there are parishes that play an important role in the lives of local communities, and their architecture often reflects the diverse styles that have developed over the centuries.
