The Lipie Commune, located in the Silesian Voivodeship within the Kłobuck County, covers an area of 99.07 km², of which 63% is agricultural land and 31% is forested. In 2004, it was home to 6,554 people. Lipie boasts a rich history, dating back to the time when the commune was part of the Częstochowa Voivodeship until 1998. Its territory features numerous monuments that testify to the region's historical heritage, including Danków Castle and churches such as St. Stanislaus Church in Danków and St. Peter and Paul Church in Parzymiechy. Another important site is the 18th-century manor house in Lipie and the Potocki Family Cemetery in Parzymiechy, which attract both historians and tourists. An interesting fact is the existence of a private airstrip in Natolin, adding a modern touch to the commune's rural landscape.
