Malbork

Malbork is a historic city in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, best known for its castle, which is one of the largest and most significant examples of Gothic architecture in Europe. Built by the Teutonic Order between 1274 and 1457, the castle consists of three sections: the High Castle, the Middle Castle, and the Low Castle, all surrounded by massive defensive walls. A fun fact about the city is its mascot, Marianek—a little knight created as part of the Malbork Civic Budget.
