The Military Technology Museum "Gryf", located in Dąbrówka in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, was founded in April 2013 by Marian Kotecki and occupies the site of a former military unit that housed various troops between 1963 and 2011. Spanning 15 hectares, the museum collects exhibits related to military technology, particularly from the World War II era, with a focus on dynamic displays—many of the items are fully operational and participate in reenactments and educational events.
Notably, the Sappers' Collection stands out as one of the largest assemblages of ammunition and sapper equipment in Poland, featuring exhibits ranging from medieval cannonballs to modern anti-tank missiles. The museum also showcases the SD Bunker, which commemorates the military history of Dąbrówka and the service of anti-aircraft soldiers.
The collection includes over 100 military vehicles, tanks, artillery pieces, and missiles, including legendary tanks such as the T-34-85 and T-55A, as well as the unique FlakPanzer Gepard. Civilian equipment, such as passenger cars, off-road vehicles, buses, and motorcycles, is also on display.
The museum actively engages in cultural activities by organizing historical and educational events and collaborating with filmmakers on documentary and feature productions. An interesting fact is that visitors can see the oldest operational car in Poland—a 1905 Holsman—as well as unique vehicles like the PZL Mi-2 helicopter and the Scheibe L-Spatz 55 glider.
The museum is not only a repository of military equipment but also an important educational and cultural center aimed at promoting the history of military technology in Poland.
