Museum of Hunting and Horsemanship in Warsaw

The Museum of Hunting and Horsemanship in Warsaw was established in 1983 by merging two initiatives: a museum of hunting, run by artist Tomasz Konarski, and a museum of horsemanship. The first permanent exhibition was opened in 1985 in the Cantonists' Barracks, and since 2018, the museum has operated as a branch of the Royal Łazienki Museum. Its collections include items related to nature, hunting, and hippology, and the venue is known for presenting both permanent and temporary exhibitions. The Cantonists' Barracks house exhibits related to Polish hunting and thematic rooms, while the Kubicki Stable houses the Carriage House. Architecturally, both locations enrich Warsaw's cultural landscape, combining architectural history with museum education. The museum is also accessible to people with disabilities thanks to special facilities. An interesting fact is the organization of various events and activities that attract both nature enthusiasts and equestrian culture lovers.
