The Nasielsk Commune, located in the Masovian Voivodeship, within the Nowy Dwór County, is an urban-rural municipality with its seat in Nasielsk, situated 50 km from Warsaw. In 2019, the commune was inhabited by 19,965 people, and its area is 205.77 km², of which 82% is agricultural land and 11.7% is forested. Looking back to 1975, the commune was administratively part of the Ciechanów Voivodeship. Within the commune's area, there is an airfield in Chrcynno. Nasielsk and the surrounding towns hide numerous architectural monuments, including churches and palaces, which testify to the region's rich history. The commune's culture is enlivened by local traditions, festivals, and socio-cultural events that bring the community together. The diverse demographic structure, illustrated by the 2014 age pyramid, highlights the multi-generational character of the community.
