The Konieczkowa Village Community Museum of the Niebylec Commune, located in the picturesque village of the same name in the Strzyżów district, was established in 2012 on the initiative of Grzegorz Smela, a councilor of the Niebylec Commune Council. The museum operates within the Konieczkowa School Complex and serves as a place that gathers numerous memorabilia related to the history of the region and its inhabitants. The museum's collections feature a special focus on artifacts from World War II, including items belonging to soldiers such as Senior Sergeant Jan Ziomek, a defender of Lviv, and Corporal Adam Antonik, a soldier of the 2nd Polish Corps who fell at Monte Cassino. The museum also offers a rich collection of everyday objects and technical antiquities, such as radios, typewriters, sewing machines, and scales, which provide insight into the lives of the local residents in years past. The institution also houses religious paintings and old printing presses, adding cultural value to its collections. Interestingly, the Volunteer Fire Department of Niebylec donated old hand pumps to the museum, enriching its collection with items related to the history of the local fire service. The museum is open to visitors every Thursday afternoon, and admission is free, making it an accessible resource for promoting local history and culture.
