Niegowić Deanery

The Niegowić Deanery, one of the 45 deaneries in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kraków, consists of eight parishes: St. Martin's in Biskupice, the Transfiguration of the Lord in Brzezie, the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Gdów, Our Lady of Fátima in Jaroszówka, St. Bartholomew the Apostle in Łapanów, the Finding of the Holy Cross in Łazany, the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Niegowić, and the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Tarnawa. The architecture of the churches in this region reflects local building traditions and historical influences, with a particular emphasis on Gothic and Baroque elements, which can be observed in churches such as those in Łazany and Niegowić.
