Niećkowo is a village in Poland, located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, Grajewo County. It is primarily known as an agricultural center and the seat of the Center for Continuous Education School Complex. The village is characterized by a single-street layout with traditional buildings, including a manor house that was renovated and restored in the 1990s while preserving its original shape. Historically, the village has a rich heritage dating back to the 14th century, when Duke Janusz I granted the land to local settlers, leading to the establishment of new villages, including Niećkowo. Over the centuries, the village underwent various changes in ownership, associated with noble families such as the Niecikowscy and Świderscy, who managed the estate for many years. During World War II, the village served as the administrative center of Grajewo County under the name Galindenhoff. After the war, the estate was transformed into an agricultural school, which contributed to the development of education in the region. Today, Niećkowo is a place with significant agricultural traditions that has evolved into an educational hub, while also bearing witness to a rich history and numerous social and economic transformations.
