The Dąbrowa Commune, located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, within the Mogilno County, is characterized by its rich architectural and natural heritage. The seat of the commune is Dąbrowa, and its area, covering 110.51 km², constitutes 16.35% of the county's total area. The commune is home to approximately 4,600 people (data from 2017), and its geographical location within the Gniezno Lakeland favors intensive agricultural development. Within the commune lies the Mierucinek Nature Reserve, which protects a fragment of an oak forest. In terms of architecture, the Dąbrowa Commune boasts valuable historical monuments, including the church complex in Parlin, featuring a 17th-century wooden church and a 19th-century bell tower, as well as the manor complex in Słaboszewko from the mid-19th century.
