Observation tower on Trójmorski Wierch

The observation tower on Trójmorski Wierch is situated at an altitude of 1,145 meters above sea level in the Śnieżnik Massif, on the border between Poland and the Czech Republic. It was built in December 2009 and opened to tourists on May 8, 2010. The project was co-financed by the European Union, with the total construction cost amounting to 164,972.40 PLN, of which 109,815.62 PLN came from EU funds. The tower features a wooden structure and stands 25 meters tall, offering visitors breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. It serves as an excellent vantage point, providing sweeping vistas of the Sudetes mountains and the surrounding valleys. The tower holds not only architectural significance as a modern structure seamlessly integrated into the mountain landscape but also cultural importance as a tourist attraction that draws nature enthusiasts and hikers. From its summit, visitors can enjoy unforgettable views that captivate tourists throughout the year. An interesting fact is that the location of the tower lies along a ridge that divides the watersheds of three seas: the Baltic Sea, the North Sea, and the Black Sea, giving this site exceptional geographical value. It is also worth noting that, in addition to its role as an observation point, the tower serves a fire prevention function, aligning with environmental protection trends and efforts to prevent wildfires in forested areas.
