Piaseczno Regional Museum

The Piaseczno Regional Museum, located in the former parish office building near St. Anne's Church, was opened in 2004 to celebrate the 575th anniversary of Piaseczno being granted town rights. As a municipal organizational unit, the museum gathers collections from the holdings of local regionalist Jerzy Dusza, the Piaseczno Friends Society, and the Municipal Cultural Center. Its exhibitions include the "Piaseczno: A Royal and National Town" display, which features rich historical artifacts such as documents, photographs, maps, everyday objects from the past, and militaria, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of local history and culture. Architecturally, the building reflects the historical character of the region, attracting both history and architecture enthusiasts. The museum is open year-round from Wednesday to Sunday, and admission is charged, making it an important venue on the cultural map of Piaseczno and the surrounding area. Interestingly, the celebrations of the town's anniversary served as the catalyst for the creation of this institution, highlighting the importance of local history in the consciousness of the residents.
