The Pogodno Tram Depot, opened on September 22, 1938, is part of the Szczecin tram network, located at 200 Aleja Wojska Polskiego in the Zachód district. It is the fifth depot in the city, featuring 16 inspection pits and the capacity to accommodate 80 rolling stock units. It is worth noting that the Zawadzki-Klonowica area was incorporated into Szczecin in 1911, which had a significant impact on the development of urban transport. The depot underwent modernization between 1973 and 1983, allowing it to accommodate modern tram rolling stock, including Konstal 102Na and 105N cars. Its architecture combines functionality with modern solutions, including a streamlined maintenance system and an extensive repair and parking hall. The depot houses various types of trams, including modern models such as the Pesa Swing 120NaS, which were introduced here in 2010. Pogodno is the only drive-through tram depot in Szczecin, which is its unique advantage. The facility not only serves technical functions but also represents an important part of the history of Szczecin's urban transport, having housed the latest tram cars for many years. The depot serves key tram lines in the city, and its modernization has contributed to improving the quality of public transport. Interestingly, the depot was the first home to innovative trams, confirming its importance in the development of urban transportation. Additionally, the depot was home to architectural details, such as two buildings—one residential and the other providing facilities for tram drivers. From a cultural perspective, the Pogodno Depot is an integral part of the urban landscape and symbolizes the development of transport and infrastructure in Szczecin.
