The municipality of Przeworno, located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship within Strzelin County, covers an area of 111.96 km², of which 74% is agricultural land and 18% is forested. Przeworno is a rural municipality with its seat in the village of Przeworno. Historically, between 1975 and 1998, it was part of the Wałbrzych Voivodeship. In 2013, the population of the municipality was 5,035, but by 2019 this number had dropped to 4,754. By the end of June 2020, the population stood at 4,734, indicating ongoing demographic changes. The municipality borders the neighboring municipalities of Grodków, Kamiennik, Strzelin, Wiązów, and Ziębice. In terms of architecture, traditional rural buildings dominate the area, and the transport infrastructure is primarily based on the provincial road No. 385, which runs through the southern part of the municipality. The now-defunct railway lines No. 313 and No. 321 also passed through the municipality, reflecting its historical transport connections. As a rural administrative unit, the municipality of Przeworno retains many elements of traditional Lower Silesian culture, which are evident both in its architecture and in the daily lives of its residents.
