Pysznica is a rural commune located in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, within the Stalowa Wola County, with its administrative seat in the village of Pysznica. According to data as of December 31, 2020, the commune is home to 11,335 residents. It covers an area of 147.82 km², predominantly characterized by forest land (59%) and agricultural land (34%). Pysznica constitutes 17.75% of the total area of Stalowa Wola County. The commune comprises several village administrative units, including Bąków, Chłopska Wola, Jastkowice, Kłyżów, and Studzieniec.
