Rogóźno is a rural municipality located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, within the Grudziądz County, with its seat in the town of Rogóźno. Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality was part of the Toruń Voivodeship. According to data from June 30, 2004, the municipality had a population of 4,076. Its total area is 115.74 km², of which 61% is agricultural land and 32% is forested. The municipality covers 15.89% of the area of Grudziądz County. In terms of nature conservation, the area includes three nature reserves—Dolina Osy, Jamy, and Rogóźno Zamek—as well as the Klonowa and Pod Wierzbą caves, highlighting its rich biodiversity. The municipality is home to significant architectural monuments, including churches from the 14th and 18th centuries, and a castle complex in Rogóźno-Zamek, which features the ruins of a medieval castle and 19th-century structures. In Szembruk, visitors can see a wooden church dedicated to St. Bartholomew and a manor complex dating back to the late 19th century.
