Rokitno is a rural commune located in the Lublin Voivodeship, within Biała Podlaska County. Its administrative seat is the village of Rokitno. The commune was established after 1998, having previously been part of the Biała Podlaska Voivodeship. As of June 30, 2004, Rokitno was inhabited by 3,347 people, indicating a small but stable community. The commune covers an area of 140.82 km², with a predominance of agricultural land (61%) and forests (33%), highlighting its rural and agricultural character. It constitutes 5.11% of the total area of Biała Podlaska County. Rokitno includes several village administrations (sołectwa), such as Cieleśnica, Derło, Hołodnica, and Pratulin, reflecting the diversity of local communities.
