wikipedia
Ruda Różaniecka is a village in Poland located on the Tarnogród Plateau in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, with a rich history dating back to the 17th century when a metallurgical plant was established here. The origin of the name is associated with iron ore (ruda) as a raw material for iron production and the Różaniec River. In the 18th century, the village developed thanks to its forge and smelter, and the first records of it date back to 1706. In the 19th century, after the estate was acquired by Baron Herman Brunicki, production facilities were expanded, including a sawmill and a dairy. Despite destruction during World War I, the estate cultivated by the Brunicki family prospered. World War II brought destruction and the displacement of residents, and the barons' estate was taken over by the state. Today, Ruda Różaniecka is home to a Social Welfare Home located in a palace from the early 20th century, which retains neo-Baroque elements. The church, which once served as a military club, became a branch of the parish in Płazów in 1946. The primary school, with a rich history, also played an important role in educating local youth and today operates under the patronage of Władysław Ważny. Ruda Różaniecka has a dynamic cultural life, including an active sports club "Roztocze." In 2003, the village had 1,315 inhabitants, and local traditions and history create strong community bonds. It is also worth noting that nuns operate in the village, supporting the activities of the Social Welfare Home, highlighting the contemporary social aspect of this village.
