The multimedia fountain in Rzeszów, located along Lubomirski Avenue, is a modern tourist attraction that was opened to the public on August 17, 2013. Its construction, costing over 7 million złoty, was carried out on the site of a former playground. The facility consists of several basins, including a large circular mirror fountain and an interactive dry fountain, as well as five flower-shaped fountains. In total, they cover an area of 287 m² and are equipped with nearly 1,600 nozzles and 143 light points, enabling spectacular multimedia shows. The performances combine elements of water, light, sound, and lasers, contributing to their uniqueness and appeal. The first public presentation attracted around 10,000 spectators and was organized in three segments, including themes such as "History of Music" and "Innovative Rzeszów." Situated near the historic Summer Palace of the Lubomirski family, the fountain is not only one of the most technologically advanced facilities in Poland but also the third-largest multimedia fountain in Europe. Additionally, an amphitheater with 300 seats has been created near the fountain, along with aesthetic landscaping featuring trees, shrubs, and elements of small architecture, enhancing the atmosphere of the place. The fountain serves as a significant cultural landmark in the region, attracting both tourists and locals, and its thematic shows are one of the key initiatives promoting Rzeszów as a modern city with a rich cultural offering.
