The Słubice Commune, located in the Masovian Voivodeship, in Płock County, was established in January 1973 through the merger of the Słubice and Juliszew districts. The commune is situated along regional road no. 575, which connects Płock with Warsaw, and its administrative seat is the village of Słubice. The commune covers an area of 94.47 km², with agricultural land dominating, accounting for 76% of its total area. According to demographic data, in 2021, the commune was home to 4,370 people. It is surrounded by neighboring communes: Bodzanów, Gąbin, Iłów, Mała Wieś, Sanniki, and Słupno. Within its community, the commune includes several village administrative units, such as Alfonsów, Budy, Grabowiec, Grzybów, Jamno, Juliszew-Sady, and others. Słubice cooperates with its partner city, Płock. In terms of architecture, the commune boasts rural buildings typical of the Masovian region, as well as natural monuments. The culture of the commune reflects rural traditions and customs, contributing to its unique character. An interesting fact is that, despite its small population, the commune has a rich history and an atmosphere that fosters local initiatives.
