Serbinów is one of the largest housing estates in Tarnobrzeg, inhabited by over 13,000 people, located in the central part of the city. The name of the estate was given in the 1970s by the city administration, inspired by the popularity of the TV series "Nights and Days." The boundaries of Serbinów are defined by the streets: Kazimierza Wielkiego, Kwiatkowskiego, Sienkiewicza, and Sikorskiego. The estate is characterized mainly by large-panel construction and also includes high-rise buildings from the 1990s and a few single-family houses. Key facilities include the parish church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, a primary school, and various cultural and social institutions. The "Serbinów" Neighborhood Club is actively involved in the community, and the local culture is strongly tied to the Catholic parish. The estate hosts International Organ Concerts, as well as other events such as the annual parish celebration Familiada. In sports, the club "Wspólnota" and the New Year's Run, organized since 1994, play significant roles. Despite its large population, Serbinów faces infrastructural challenges, a lack of developed commercial and cultural services, and functions primarily as a dormitory suburb. Public transportation to other parts of the city relies mainly on bus line "B," with other connections operating less frequently. An interesting feature is the former Jewish necropolis, which serves as a tourist attraction in this part of Tarnobrzeg.
