The "Na Iglicznej" Shelter is a mountain tourist hostel located in the Eastern Sudetes, at a junction of hiking trails, in the settlement of Góra Igliczna. It is situated at an altitude of 820 meters above sea level, on the southeastern slope of Igliczna (845 meters above sea level). The building was constructed in 1880 as a small wooden-brick structure, originally serving as an inn for pilgrims visiting the nearby "Maria Śnieżna" sanctuary and tourists. The building was repeatedly renovated and expanded, initially known as Maria Schnee, and later as Zur Schönen Aussicht, with 12 rooms and 25 sleeping places. After World War II, the building stood empty until 1950, when it was taken over by the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society and renamed "Maria Śnieżna," offering 34–37 sleeping places. Currently, it is privately owned, with 40 sleeping places, and its name was changed to "Na Iglicznej" due to the previous name being trademarked by the sanctuary's administrators. Architecturally, the shelter is characterized by its picturesque location and a terrace overlooking the Śnieżnik Massif, as well as an excellent viewpoint near the sanctuary, offering panoramic views of the Upper Nysa Trench, the Bystrzyckie, Sowie, and Stołowe Mountains. The place is popular among tourists, and various hiking trails pass through its vicinity, including the yellow trail to Międzygórze, the green trail to Czarna Góra, and the red trail to the PTTK "Na Śnieżniku" Shelter. Due to its rich history and architecture, the shelter is an important cultural element of the region, attracting mountain and history enthusiasts. Interestingly, despite numerous changes in ownership, the shelter maintains its rich traditions related to tourism and pilgrimages.
