The Slowinski Village Museum, known in the Kashubian language as Mùzeum Słowińsczi Wsë, is an open-air museum located in Kluki near Smołdzino in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. It operates as a branch of the Museum of Central Pomerania in Słupsk. Established in 1963, its main goal is to preserve and present the culture of the Slovincians, a people who once inhabited the areas around Lake Gardno and Lake Łebsko. The museum showcases not only traditional architecture but also the customs and lifestyle of this ethnic group. One of its most important exhibits is a mid-19th-century homestead preserved in its original location, serving as an excellent example of local architecture. The museum grounds feature various farm buildings, as well as exhibitions related to the craftsmanship and daily life of the Slovincians, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of their history and culture. In 2017, the museum was visited by 41,080 people, reflecting its popularity and significance as a cultural center. The museum also organizes various events that highlight local traditions and customs, engaging both the local community and tourists. An interesting fact is that the Slovincians had their own distinct dialects and traditions, which are now endangered, making the Slowinski Village Museum not only an exhibition space but also an important institution for the preservation of the region's cultural heritage.
