Wicko is a rural commune located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the Lębork County, with its seat in a locality of the same name. The commune covers an area of 216.08 km², of which 43% is agricultural land and 30% is forest land. According to nearby statistics, in 2011 the commune was inhabited by 5,940 people, and this number increased to 6,064 in 2017, only to drop to 6,019 residents in 2019. Among the commune's monuments, numerous palaces stand out, such as the palace in Poraj from 1895, the palace and park in Ulinia from the 19th century, the palace in Charbrowo from 1660, and the historic palace in Nowęcin from the 16th century. The commune also features significant religious buildings, including the Church of St. John the Baptist in Białogarda from 1890, the Baroque Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Roszczyce from 1659, and the Church of St. Joseph the Bridegroom in Charbrowo from 1699. Wicko also boasts rich natural resources, with nature reserves such as Las Górkowski, Mierzeja Sarbska, and Nowe Wicko, as well as the ornithological and nature trail Łebskie Błota, which attracts nature enthusiasts.
