The South Roztocze Landscape Park is a picturesque protected area, stretching across the Lublin and Podkarpackie voivodeships, forming part of Eastern Roztocze. It covers an area of 208.16 km², with the largest portion, 167.97 km², located in the municipalities of Horyniec-Zdrój and Narol in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, while 40.19 km² lies within the Lubycza Królewska municipality in the Lublin Voivodeship. The park stands out for its rich natural environment, including valuable forest ecosystems and unique plant habitats. Within the park, there are three nature reserves: Źródła Tanwi, Sołokija, and Jalinka, which protect the floral and faunal diversity of the area. Źródła Tanwi is a forest reserve dedicated to preserving unique forest ecosystems, while Sołokija focuses on the protection of rare plant species, and Jalinka is another forest reserve that safeguards the characteristics of local natural habitats. The park is not only a place of nature conservation but also an important recreational and cultural area, attracting tourists with its wild, untouched nature and beautiful landscapes.
