Chatka Elektryków, also known as the Student Tourist Shelter "Lasek," is a place with a rich history and attractive architecture, located on the slopes of Mount Łosek in the Laskowski Range, which is part of the Maków Beskids. The building is over 100 years old and was adapted for tourists in the 1970s by members of the "ELEKT" club of the Silesian University of Technology. The shelter operated as a student hut until the late 1990s and is now managed by a private owner, allowing it to welcome guests year-round. The hut features three bedrooms, including one large attic room, and shared spaces such as a kitchen, common room, toilet, and bathroom with a shower. Although there is no food service, the facilities include a gas stove and outdoor grilling areas. The hut is fully electrified and has running water. The surrounding area offers numerous amenities, such as a volleyball court and swings. It serves as an excellent base for exploring nearby peaks like Lachów Groń, Czerniawa Sucha, or Jałowiec, as well as Pilsko and Babia Góra. It provides various hiking trails, including the yellow PTTK trail from Przyborów and other "hut trails," creating attractive connections for tourists. Interestingly, an additional "beer mug trail" leads to the shelter, adding to its unique character. The hut stands on the remains of the Łosek hamlet, which contributes to its unique atmosphere and surroundings. It is a place with a rich cultural heritage that attracts mountain hiking and tourism enthusiasts.
