St. Anne's Church in Lubliniec

St. Anne's Church in Lubliniec is a historic filial church belonging to the Parish of St. Nicholas, whose history dates back to 1653, when it was built thanks to the foundation of Andrzej Cellari. The building was rebuilt or renovated in 1754, and the last conservation works took place in 1999–2001, including a slight modification of its location. The church is oriented and built using log construction, with a three-sided closure on the eastern side and a rectangular sacristy, which was previously of half-timbered construction. A distinctive feature of the building is its shingle roof, topped with a hexagonal turret with a lantern, giving it a unique character. Inside the church, there are Baroque-style furnishings that highlight the historical value and artistic beauty of the temple. St. Anne's Church is part of the Wooden Architecture Trail of the Silesian Voivodeship, making it an important point on the region's cultural map. The building certainly attracts both history and architecture enthusiasts, showcasing the rich traditions of sacral architecture in Poland. An interesting fact is that the church's design, rooted in the context of contemporary construction techniques, reflects the local customs and spiritual values of the inhabitants of Lubliniec, making it a witness to their history and culture.
