wikipedia
Lubliniec County, located in the Silesian Voivodeship, was established in 1999 and has its seat in the town of Lubliniec. The county includes the urban municipality of Lubliniec, the urban-rural municipality of Woźniki, as well as rural municipalities such as Boronów and Ciasna. Historically, most of the area is part of Upper Silesia, and the county boasts a rich cultural heritage, reflected in its numerous manor houses, palaces, and historic churches. The Wooden Architecture Trail features churches from the 17th and 18th centuries, including St. Joseph's Church in Sadowo and the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary in Boronów. The region also publishes a free monthly informational and opinion magazine called "Echo Powiatu." An interesting fact is that the town of Koszęcin is home to the "Śląsk" Song and Dance Ensemble. In the past, the county also included the municipalities of Kalety and Dobrodzień, which were separated in 1999. The county's economy is primarily based on agriculture, though larger industrial plants such as Lentex and Hoger are also present in Lubliniec. The county is characterized by a diverse landscape, situated on the border of the Silesian Lowland and the Silesian Upland, with the "Lasy nad Górną Liswartą" Landscape Park stretching across its northeastern part.
