The Church of Saint Nicholas and Saint Francis Xavier in Otmuchów is a Roman Catholic parish church with a rich history dating back to the 13th century. The first mention of the temple comes from 1235, and the current structure was built between 1690 and 1693 on the order of Bishop Franciszek Ludwik. The architect was Johann Peter Tobler, and the interior was decorated with polychromes by Karol Dankwart. The church is distinguished by its single-nave structure with a transept and galleries, and its rich early Baroque furnishings date from the late 17th and early 18th centuries. In the apse of the presbytery, there is an impressive main altar with the painting "Saint Nicholas Blessing the Shipwrecked" by Michael Willmann from 1696. The church underwent extensive renovation starting in 2017, aimed at restoring its original appearance. In addition to the altars, the choir stalls, pulpit, and baptismal font were restored, preserving the richness of artistic details. An interesting fact is that the first mentions of organs in this church date back to the 15th century, and the current organ was built in 1935 and regularly hosts music concerts. The church is an important cultural hub in the region, organizing annual events such as the "Musical Flowers of Heaven" concert as part of the Flower Festival.
