wikipedia
The Church of Saint Roch in Osiek, located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, is a Roman Catholic parish church belonging to the Skórcz Deanery of the Pelplin Diocese. It was built in the Neo-Gothic style between 1860 and 1866 using fieldstones and bricks. The church is distinguished by its beautiful roof truss and stained-glass windows, which were ordered in Germany before World War II but were not installed until the 1950s. The temple houses valuable relics, including a bone and cloth of Saint Adalbert, as well as relics of Saint Roch, giving it both religious and cultural significance. In 2011, the church was designated as the youngest Kociewie sanctuary dedicated to Saint Roch by decision of Pelplin Bishop Jan Bernard Szlaga. The architecture, rich interior with relics, and construction history contribute to the uniqueness of this site, which is an important landmark in local tradition and piety.
