Sulmierzyce, also known as the Sulmierzyce Commune, is a rural municipality in the Łódź Voivodeship, located in Pajęczno County. Its administrative seat, Sulmierzyce, lies in a picturesque area rich in agricultural land (75% of the commune's area) and forests (16%). In 2007, the commune covered an area of 82.74 km², and as of December 2019, it had a population of 4,444. The commune constitutes 10.29% of the total area of Pajęczno County.
