The sculpture "Włókniarka" (The Female Textile Worker) is a work by the Zielona Góra-based artist Marek Przecławski, located near the main building of the Novita S.A. Nonwoven Fabrics Factory. Created in October 1978, it embodies the cultural revival spirit of Zielona Góra in the 1970s and is one of many outdoor sculptures in the city. The piece resulted from the collaboration of local artists who carried out projects related to the "Novita" factory. The composition consists of three forms, the most prominent of which is a full-figure representation of a woman, symbolizing the work of a female textile worker, while the other two are pillars with bulges resembling thread spools, alluding to the textile industry. Standing 2.5 meters tall, the sculpture is made of Gozdnica stoneware and filled with concrete, giving it a robust structure. It serves not only as an attractive element of public space but also as a testament to local traditions and craftsmanship, reflecting the role of women in the textile industry. Thus, "Włókniarka" is not only an intriguing architectural object but also an important cultural symbol of the region, blending art with local history and heritage.
